This snow goose hunting season may go down as our worst since the conservation order started. We've hunted snows every weekend since late February and only had one double digit day so far. I say so far as with this weird weather going on over the Dakotas we're still at it. We're planning another hunt this weekend and hopefully our success ratio will go up a bit. Here's hoping the juvies find our spread and our aim (and lead) is on.

Ended the season with a skunk, but still bagged more birds than last season so it was move in the right direction. Time to hibernate for a weekend, then turkey, shrooms, and berries. I'll take august off to relax and back at it in September. Good luck and be safe this "off season".
